Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy is a Chinese alternative medicine. Cupping is a type of deep tissue massage using suction cups. It creates space in the muscles that helps with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation, and well-being. You may experience temporary bruising and mild marks on the skin due to cupping bringing stagnated blood to the skin’s surface, increasing blood flow. Marks should go away in a few days.

Your choice of essential oil added to massage oil or lotion incorporated into a Swedish or Deep Tissue massage for a relaxing experience. When inhaling and absorbing these essential oil molecules they are believed to promote beneficial changes in your mind and body by affecting a region of your brain known as limbic system.

Indian Head & Scalp Massage

Indian Head massages originated from an Indian alternative medicine system called Ayurveda using circular massage strokes and acupressure points along the head, neck and shoulders. Rosemary & Mint essential oil is added to your hair for lush benefits such as improving scalp circulation, reducing dandruff and promoting a healthy scalp. This oil combination adds shine and offers a refreshing and cooling sensation.

Pregnancy Massage

Prenatal massage is performed in the side lying position. Great to help expecting mothers relax, reduce swelling and treat pain in the back. In order to book this service, you must be in your 2nd or 3rd trimester. Pregnancy massage is not performed in the 1st trimester.

Your massage will be personalized by Rebecca to suit your needs on the day of your appointment. Rebecca’s method will uniquely combine; Tok Sen (hammering), hot stones, aromatherapy, stretching, table Thai, warm bamboo, scraping, trigger point, and cupping therapy. Lymphatic Drainage

A gentle form of massage using light pressure to flush out metabolic waste and toxins by releasing lymphatic fluid in your tissues. Gently manipulates specific areas of your body to encourage the movement of lymph and uses reabsorption to move the lymphatic fluid to your lymph nodes.

Unwind with a relaxing foot massage and hot towel foot wrap. A sugar scrub is first applied on feet and calves during a warm footbath. Enjoy your choice of aromatherapy oil and diffusor. Feet, ankles, lower legs and calves are massaged after the sugar scrub treatment.

Tok Sen (Hammering Massage)

An ancient Thai massage technique that uses rhythmic tapping along the Sen lines (energy lines) to promote healing in the body. Hammering activates relaxation, alleviates pain, promotes circulation and eases muscle tension. Hammering uses a wooden mallet and wedges to gently tap along the Sen lines using vibration to penetrate deep into the muscles. Rebecca was trained in Chiang Mai Thailand in this healing modality.

Scraping Therapy Massage

Scraping therapy is a Chinese medicine technique, (with other modalities formed around Asia using different tools) that can help treat a variety of soft tissue injuries using either a gua sha stone or other scraping tool to work out the fascia, adhesions and blockage in the muscles. Rebecca was trained in Chiang Mai Thailand in this healing technique.
